About Anchor Franchise
Anchor Franchise

Welcome to the world of milk! "…Anchor anywhere, anytime" Market Leader in the Sales and Distribution of Anchor Milk Products and beverages including Primo, Zing, Supashake and Calciyum

The Company:

Anchor Distribution Franchise is operated as part of Fonterra Brands (New Zealand) Ltd, which is owned by Fonterra.

The Franchise:

The strength of the franchised operation comes from the vast resources, which Fonterra Brands (New Zealand) can call upon in order to support and assist each of the Franchisees. The Franchisees also benefit from an extensive corporate marketing program supported by the Anchor Brand and other leading

A fundamental difference between the Distribution franchise and traditional milk distribution is the focus on proactive sales and service delivery with customers, and a commitment to company standards.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND THEIR ANSWERS:

1. “Am I just a Milk Vendor?”

NO! Our Franchisees come from many and varied backgrounds. Those without experience in the industry are often more readily able to adopt ideas as they don’t have any pre-conceived ideas about the business. We are looking for more that just milk vendors – we are looking for entrepreneurs and sales and marketing people to grow and develop the business – whilst still operating within the confines of a Franchise system.

2. “What does a Franchise cost?”

Specific investment requirements vary between franchises which can be discussed individually with your application.

3. ”What are the training requirements?”

Training requirements will vary depending on the previous experience of a Franchisee. Applicants will spend a period of up to 10 days on field assessment during the recruitment phase. The training programme offers a degree of flexibility as individual people have different needs and are working to different time frames

Once accepted as a Franchisee you will be required to attend a two-day Induction Course at Fonterra Brands (New Zealand) in Takanini. During the initial training, you will be required to become familiar with the franchise specific systems. This includes Anchor software training, which will be provided according to individual needs.

Business Development Managers will then work with new Franchisees to ensure a smooth transition into the business. This will involve completion and implementation of an annual business plan. Attendance at on-going training programmes will be required throughout the franchise tenure.

4. “Can I choose my own geographic area?”

This depends on the availability of areas for sale and how suitable they are for Anchor Distribution Franchise and the approved purchaser. The aim is to have the best possible fit of Franchisee and location.

5. “How much profit can I make?”

Profitability varies between areas and between operators. Anchor Franchise businesses provide excellent returns and have exceptional Cashflow potential.

6. “What process do I have to go through to become an Anchor Franchisee?”

Fonterra Brands (New Zealand) has a very thorough recruitment process to ensure only the best applicants are accepted. This ensures the Distribution Franchise standards are improving all the time. Please note that at any time either party reserve the right to withdraw from the recruitment process.
