Ben & Jerry's set for growth
Ben & Jerry’s is now ready to take on New Zealand and has plans to open 20 Scoop Stores across Australasia by 2020.
The recently opened Mission Bay store in Auckland has laid the foundations for growth into the South Island.
Next location for a Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Store will be Christchurch, closely followed by Queenstown.
Sean Farrell, Ben & Jerry’s national retail operations manager said “Christchurch is a beautiful, iconic city and we just could not ignore the enthusiasm that we saw when the team stopped there during their Sampling Tour earlier this year.”
The ice cream chain first arrived in New Zealand in 2015. There are now 30 stores across Australia and New Zealand.
The business is looking for passionate potential franchisees to help expand the brand across the country.
