Quest Apartment Hotels to open two new properties
Quest Apartment Hotels is marking its 20-year anniversary in New Zealand with another year of record revenue growth, exceeding $65million in turnover.
There's also a new strategic partnership as Quest becomes the exclusive accommodation partner to the Air New Zealand Airpoints for Business program.
The accommodation group is also unveiling two new properties in 2018 with Quest on Manchester in Christchurch open in July and the 60 room extension at Quest Highbrook set for a November opening. The new Quest Tauranga will open in the first quarter of 2019.
Quest currently has eight other new projects currently in the planning phases for Auckland, Manukau, Christchurch, Palmerston North, Mt Maunganui and Wellington.
On a broader landscape, the franchise chain has a total of 13 new properties scheduled for opening in the next 18 months across Australia, New Zealand and the UK: South Perth (WA); Penrith and Orange (NSW); Quest on Manchester, Quest Tauranga Central, Quest on Tuam and Quest Mount Eden (NZ); and Liverpool (UK).
Melbourne remains Quest’s heartland, with founder and chairman Paul Constantinou establishing the first Quest property in 1988, Quest Royal Gardens in Fitzroy. The city has remained a priority region within Quest’s assertive international growth strategy.
Quest Maribyrnong and Quest Epping opened in late June and July, and further properties will open in Notting Hill, St Kilda Road and NewQuay.
